　　Manual operation, that is, first add enough water into the container (cylinder, jar, basin), and then slowly sprinkle dry powder sodium alginate with a wooden stick while stirring to avoid caking as much as possible until it is completely dissolved. 　　2. Mechanical stirring

　　High-speed shear agitator is adopted to make dry powder algin disperse rapidly in water. However, it should be noted that the agitator should be placed in an off-center position, and the blades of the agitator must be submerged below the liquid level to prevent excessive air blowing. Powdered alginate should be slowly sprinkled on the upper part of the vortex so that each particle can be wetted.

　　When sodium alginate is used as an additive, alginate can be mixed with miscible substances, such as sugar and starch, in dry form, which can promote the diffusion of alginate in the solution.
