  Production process of sodium alginate:

      Rinsing and crushing kelp, alkali dissolving and grinding pulp, diluting and foaming, floating, fine filtering, bleaching, calcification, dehydration, liquid phase transformation, separation, granulation, drying and inspection, and sodium alginate finished product.

  Kelp digestion:

  After the kelp is weighed, it is soaked in water 5 times the weight of dry kelp for 20 hours, drained, soaked in tap water and liquid alkali for 3 hours, and the wet kelp soaked for five times is sent to a pulverizer to be crushed to 2-3mm, washed with water, dewatered in a cage and sent to a digester; Add 1% hot alkaline water (sodium carbonate) at 80℃ to kelp in a digester, stir well, then let it stand for two hours, perform primary pulping, digest for another hour, perform secondary pulping, digest for another 0.5 hour, perform tertiary pulping, and then put it into a dilution pool.

  Dilute and filter:

  Dilute to Engel's for 100-120 seconds, mix with compressed air, send it to a foaming machine for foaming and settling for 2.5-3 hours, then take the supernatant and send it to a 300-mesh crawler filter for filtration, and send the filtrate to a calcification system with a water pump for calcification.

  Calcification, dehydration:

  Adding 1% calcium solution (the concentration of calcium chloride in calcium solution is 10%), adding chlorine for bleaching, foaming with a foaming device and stirring at high speed, entering an aging tank, then entering a decalcifying barrel, stirring and adding 5% hydrochloric acid for decalcification, then entering a cage for dehydration, and squeezing and dewatering after decalcification for three times to generate alginic acid.

  Liquid phase transformation:

  Alginate is sent to a liquid phase converter, and 75% ethanol solution is added, and liquid sodium hydroxide is added to neutralize it to pH 9, and then centrifugal dehydration (distillation and recovery of waste ethanol solution) is carried out to generate sodium alginate.

  Granulating and drying:

  After the centrifugal sodium alginate is granulated, it is sent to a dryer for drying until the water content is 16%-17%, and then it is crushed into 40 meshes in a mill. After passing the inspection, it is packaged and delivered from the factory.
